9: 30 a.m. -10:15 a.m.

Topic:

“Status Neutral Approach” to ending the HIV epidemic. This involves both rapid start, which means providing treatment for those newly diagnosed with HIV as soon as possible, and also PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis to help prevent acquisition of HIV.

10: 15 a.m. – 10:55 p.m.  

a panel of community members will be speaking to address stigma in HIV care and how to be an excellent care provider to those living with HIV.

11: 00 a.m. – noon

Student presentations consisting of education material tailored to either patients or medical providers on key areas regarding HIV care and ending the epidemic. This will be an open forum style, where members of the community and medical providers can walk around to view presentations and give feedback on student work.
