Chapman has played a pivotal role in healthcare education through her involvement as Lead Clinical Director on the development of a Statewide Free Mental Healthcare Outreach Line, providing consultations to educators and healthcare workers. Her dedication to healthcare extends beyond education, having assisted in both development and patient care delivery on the INTUNE Mobile Unit in East Texas providing medical services to rural and underserved communities, as well as volunteering on the Ronald McDonald Mobile Health Van in Houston and The Health Wagon in the coal county of rural Southwest Virginia. She is actively engaged in policy work, serving on the Texas Nurses Association’s Regulation and Practice Committee, and Treasurer for the Texas Nurse Practitioners on the Board of Directors. With an MBA specializing in Cyber Security, she is focused on leveraging technology to increase healthcare access, particularly in primary and mental healthcare through nurse practitioner-led mobile healthcare units in Texas.
