Dr. Jennifer Fix is an associate professor of pharmacotherapy at HSC’s College of Pharmacy and an associate professor of family medicine for HSC’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

 

Prior to coming to HSC, she owned and operated an independent pharmacy in North Texas for 25 years. Her store was a traditional community pharmacy that included nonsterile compounding and a variety of professional services. When the Texas Legislature required certification for pharmacy technicians, she started assisting technicians with exam preparation by helping them brush up on math, law and basic pharmacology — and she hasn’t stopped.
