Managing Stress
How Do You Manage Stress?
Stress can play a role in your health and ability to perform at work and in life. However, not all stress is negative. Some stressors result in positive change (i.e. purchasing a new home, having a child, promotion). Distress is negative stress that results when a challenge faced is perceived as difficult and you feel you may not be able to cope with it. Understanding the effectiveness of your coping strategies is the first step in reducing negative stress.
