Congratulations to Drs. Ran Liu, Shaohua Yang, and Bibek Thapa for publishing a paper using Pre-clinical Imaging Core resources and expertise.

The paper "Experimental Ischemic Stroke Induces Secondary Bihemispheric White Matter Degeneration and Long-Term Cognitive Impairment," published in "Translational Stroke Research," mirrors clinical observations of post-stroke cognitive deficits and bilateral white matter degeneration. Preclinical Imaging Symposium on March 17

The first-ever Preclinical Symposium in HSC will take place on March 17th, which will bring together leading experts in the field to discuss the latest developments and applications of preclinical imaging. The symposium can be attended in-person (breakfast and lunch provided) or virtually, and registration is free of charge.

This event celebrates the major investment HSC has made in preclinical imaging that brings state-of-the-art (CT, MRI, PET, and SPECT) technologies to research scientists in North Texas.
