Virtual Lunch Time Color Blind Training

Please join the Office of Disability Access for a session designed to raise awareness about colorblindness and its impact on individuals in diverse settings in an online Zoom session on 1/15/25 from 12:00-1:00 via Zoom. Participants will explore practical ways to create inclusive and accessible environments, with a focus on fostering understanding and equity. Through discussion and actionable strategies, this training empowers attendees to support individuals with colorblindness in their academic, clinical, and professional journeys.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the types and prevalence of colorblindness and how it impacts daily activities.
  • Recognize the challenges individuals with colorblindness face in academic, clinical, and workplace settings.
  • Identify tools, resources, and strategies to make materials, environments, and interactions more accessible.
  • Apply inclusive practices to improve the experiences of colorblind individuals in teaching, learning, and professional contexts.
