Hollie Dzierzanowski is a classically trained violist currently pursuing her DMA in viola performance under the instruction of Susan Dubois with a related concentration in Performing Arts Health at the University of North Texas. An avid teacher and performer in the Dallas Fort-Worth area, Hollie also works as Adjunct Faculty at Dallas College. Hollie received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in viola performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Stanley Konopka and Mark Jackobs.
Hollie is focused on helping musicians enhance performance and practice through body awareness training, strength training, myofascial stretching, and musculoskeletal education. As musicians move for a living, Hollie is passionate about somatic education and practice amongst performing artists.
As a certified ELDOA trainer, Hollie works with musicians to reduce injury and release playing related pain. Hollie is a Licensed Body Mapping Educator and finished her certification under the instruction of ABME Sponsoring Teacher Jennifer Johnson, author of “What Every Violinist Needs to Know About the Body.”
